Mount Olive offers many helps throughout the changing stages of life. Not only is the church the place to cultivate a spiritual relationship with God through worship and praise, but it also is a source of rich educational resources to assist in the development of a healthy soul and mind.

Bible Study

The Bible is God's personal letter to you. He wants to tell you he loves you. He wants to show you his love by pointing to his son's life, death and resurrection for you. He wants to send the Holy Spirit to give you faith and understanding. Just as you would read and reread a letter from a loved one, you can now read God's letter to you. Read it. Think about it. And let the Holy Spirit do the rest.

Fall 2010 Bible Classes

Sunday School

Sundays at 9:15 a.m.

When children learn how much Jesus loves them - enough to die for them - their souls are fed. When they learn that God has a plan for their lives, known to him since the beginning of time, their lives have true meaning.

Mount Olive offers Sunday School as one way to assist parents in caring for the spiritual needs of their children. When it comes right down to it, there is nothing more important than where your children will spend eternity.

Children age 3 through 8th grade can enroll in Sunday School.

Vacation Bible School

Baobab Blast: God’s Great Get-Together!

June 21-25th 9am — Noon
For children entering PK - 6th grade

This summer, Mount Olive’s vacation bible school is going on an exciting African safari! Each morning we’ll gather under the Baobab tree to start our adventure. Then we’re off to the Savannah for bible stories, Madagascar for music, and the Serengeti for science. We’ll also do Kalahari crafts and play some grassland games.

Pre-School Education

Mount Olive Lutheran Pre-Kindergarten

At Mount Olive, our number one goal is to nurture God's lambs as followers of our Savior, Jesus. We also believe that the best education involves a parent-teacher partnership.

Our curriculum includes learning through play, simple Bible lessons, music, lots of arts and crafts, science, math, fun and field trips - all designed to get your child ready for kindergarten. Children learn about getting along together, sharing and respecting others' feelings.

Primary Education

Mount Olive Lutheran School

Parents, God has blessed you with a child. Along with this precious gift comes the responsibility of teaching this child that Jesus is his Savior. Knowing this, your child can live a God-pleasing life on this earth and finally know eternal life in heaven.

Mount Olive Lutheran School is here to assist you with the training of your child. We will teach the lessons of Holy Scripture each day. We will also teach the secular subjects in the light of God's Word. The teachers will encourage your child to use the gifts that God has given him so that he may grow in his service to the Lord.
